The clan has adopted a new basic entry policy. Basic Entry will be a lot more practical in clan operation. Rather than doing a lot of in game training at this stage. Members will be evaluated on activity. In order for a recruit to complete the basic entry process they must do the following.
First members must register on the site and request entry into the personnel group.
At this point they will be required to earn 25 Merit, 5 Reputation, and a Minimum of 10 Post to the site.
During this time they will be evaluated on their understanding of clan regulation through practical experience based on their activity with the clan, and in most cases will be issued an "interview" to test their knowledge of the clan's regulations.
Once this process is complete a Commissioned Officer will process the promotion. From there the recruit will start their Required field training and will be given an additional interview, to evaluate suitability for their first Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Members will be assigned to to their MOS based on how well they would do in that job. Members are required to spend at least one month in their assigned MOS. From there they may request a transfer to a different Specialty. Any time there is an MOS change the personnel is required to spend 1 month in that Specialty.
Note: that just because you're in a certain MOS doesn't mean you're restricted to only doing the job described by your specialty. It simply means that your primary responsibility is in that category.
